What could be better on a Sunday afternoon than some Irish music? Come grab some great food and a pint of Guinness at Coopershill and enjoy the tunes and shenanigans of members of the band "Ishna"!

While the band is based in Boston, it is fronted by Ciaran Nagle & Tara Novak - who live in beautiful Peterborough NH. They are thrilled to "bring the band home" to close out the summer season of Music in Depot Park. This family concert series is free - bring your chair, a blanket, a picnic... but come early, because spaces fill up quickly!

Ishna is thrilled to headline the only official Middle Earth live-action-role-playing (LARP) festival! Tolkien's Shire comes to life for this 5-night-4-day event, with Ishna's memorable music as the backdrop. See you at the Shire!

"From There to Here" features the music of the debut album of Ishna, "Slí Amach: Way Out". A group of 6 acoustic musicians and singers, Ishna explores the traditional repertoire of Ireland within the context of a global setting. Ishna is fronted by Irish Tenor Ciarán Nagle and fiddler/vocalist Tara Novak (both of Riverdance and the Three Irish Tenors). The husband-and-wife duo bring their humor and dynamic energy to the stage, and are accompanied by their stellar band of traditional musicians: Dan Meyers: uilleann pipes/whistles; Bjorn Wennas – guitar; David McGrory – piano/accordion/banjo; Brian O’Neill – bodhrán/percussion.

Ishna’s performance is energetic and uplifting, infusing new rhythms and harmonies into their traditional repertoire. For Ishna, music is about finding common connections. They invite the audience into the fold of their community and to experience the beloved music of Ireland in a new way.
